They some how let me into this country , this time it was only one minute. Then they let me go, no secondary inspection this time.
That’s the 2004 Ford GT prototype, real deal. The one that went 212mph. Holy.

Love that place. Sorry I’m busy this weekend, friends are starting to come to town for the auto show.

I really like it too. Price is not bad, lots of stuff to see, & packed with history.

Ford Piquette Ave Plant, Fords 1st (that they owned) factory. The model T was developed here, & built here for a short time. It’s mostly pre-Model T tho. It's now a museum.

I did not murder you since you get me into The Henry Ford for free.

I therefore must conclude that this has been a good day.

oh, since you have my email and # now, there’s some other stuff to see next time you find yourself on this side of the border. there’s Stahl’s Automotive Foundation in Chesterfield, and the air museum at Selfridge Air National Guard base (though since you’re Canadian that one would require at least 30 days advance notice.)
